Gentle, soapless and pore refining cleanser suitable for all skin types. Rhassoul Cleansing Milk has enzymatic action as well as a milk exfoliant to carefully remove dead skin cells, old makeup and dirt while protecting the integrity of the skin. Chosen essential oils are ideal for sensitive or aging skin. It has a mattifying effect - skin is soft and pores are refined. Soap cleansers on the market and foaming cleansers with sodium lauryl sulphates and parabens strip the skin of its protective acid mantle and natural oils.
INGREDIENTS: Sake kasu, organic oats, Rhassoul pink clay, distilled water, fermented whey, soy wax, borax, cold pressed castor oil, jojoba oil, honey, potassium sorbate, essential oils including frankincense and palmarosa
DIRECTIONS: Use before applying day or night cream. Safe for children and pregnant women. Shake the bottle before pumping. One or two pumps is enough to cleanse the face. Add a few drops of water and use your hands to gently, but thoroughly scrub the skin. Rinse well and pat dry.
Please note: This is a natural living product that increases circulation and detoxifies skin. If you leave this cleanser on your skin for more than a minute or two you will notice skin reddening because of the active enzymes - this means its working! Once you rinse it off the colour will gradually subside. The blood flow to the skin is a good thing. It oxygenates, brings nutrients to the skin and also assists the skin to throw off toxins. If you have sensitive skin, try leaving the mask on for two minutes on first application and five minutes for subsequent applications. There are numerous chemical ingredients in most beauty care products and skin can be initally sensitive to pure natural products as it rebalances to its original healthy state.

Rhassoul is an ancient clay with a long history of use in beauty care. It has been used for over 1400 years as a soap, shampoo and skin conditioner. It was used in ancient Rome and Egypt by the nobility. Today, it is a favourite with the finest spas and resorts worldwide.
The clay is invaluable for spa treatments, as its extraordinary power of absorption makes it more effective than other clays for cleansing, detoxifying, and general skin treatment.
Found deep under the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the depth of these clay deposits makes rhassoul very difficult to obtain. Its literal translation from Arabic means "the matter which washes".
