This mask uses the detoxifying effect of clay combined with the enzymatic action of fermentation to dissolve toxins and dead skin cells. It promotes circulation and brings a glow to the complexion. The natural omega oils in this mask are deeply hydrating.
Ingredients: Moroccan pink clay, sake kasu, fermented lactic acid, shea butter, whey powder, witch hazel, honey, stearic acid, organic oats, potassium sorbate, essential oils
DIRECTIONS: Spread a thin layer over clean skin and leave on for five minutes. Rinse off with warm water and pat dry. Apply a skin moisturizer. Recommend Apple Grape FAce Gel for additional hydration of skin after detoxifying mask treatments.
Please note: This is a natural living product that increases circulation and detoxifies skin. You may notice skin reddening slightly due to the active enzymes - this means its working! Once you rinse it off the colour will gradually subside. The blood flow to the skin is a good thing. It oxygenates, brings nutrients to the skin and also assists the skin to throw off toxins. If you have sensitive skin, try leaving the mask on for two minutes on first application and five minutes for subsequent applications. Rhassoul is an ancient clay with a long history of use in beauty care. It has been used for over 1400 years as a soap, shampoo and skin conditioner. It was used in ancient Rome and Egypt by the nobility. Today, it is a favourite with the finest spas and resorts worldwide.
The clay is invaluable for spa treatments, as its extraordinary power of absorption makes it more effective than other clays for cleansing, detoxifying, and general skin treatment.
Found deep under the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, the depth of these clay deposits makes rhassoul very difficult to obtain. Its literal translation from Arabic means "the matter which washes".
